cornish pixies, shaving cream, cops, and the full moon

So last night was a very interesting night. First of all Ally and I got kicked out a byu dance for "inappropriate attire" our shorts were too short or as the girl said it "Here at BYU we wear our shorts to our knee's. Legging's don't count as coverage. You need to leave or go change." haha. i'm actually kinda proud that i can say that i've been kicked out of a byu dance. but..the next adventure that happened that night kinda blew that one out of the water. i got in trouble with the cops this week. don't tell my mom. hahaha. this is a great story. so my RA dani, yes my RA decided that we were going to go to this boy in our ward's house in Sandy and destroy their cars because he was having a sleepover there with some people from our ward. Well originally there wasn't room in the car for Ally and I but then dani's car broke down in downtown provo so they asked me to drive and ally decided not to go. so i leave to go get them at 12:30 and we drive to sandy.

everyone is novice's at pranking people except me and this other girl. so three of the five of us are having panic attacks so we do a drive by and he (of course) happens to live in a coldissac with tons of street lights and his house is completely light up..gREatttt. ha so we go to the church parking lot a few streets down and planned out our attack. two of the girls are really ocd so they were assigning who did what etc and then we got on this random tangent about farting, this is all being videotaped, and then we go park a little ways down. we stick peeps and oreo's on their windshields and we start doing shaving cream throughout this whole time we see people moving throughout the house so we're ducking regularly and we run back to the car once because they were all right by the front door, then we go back. then like five minutes after that scare we see people right by the front door and it looks like they're putting on shoes so be bail again and decide to drive away and come back in like half an hour.

so i go like two streets down and park by the side of the road. I thought it looked inconspicuous but mel kept telling me i was parked in the middle of the road, which i wasn't. It was a main road so like four or five cars have passed. this is a great moment caught on videotape, so we're all talking and then i'm like "oh crap, that's a cop." he's driving facing us, this is like at two thirty in the morning, and he passes, we all breath a sigh of relief, but then he turns around and flashes his flood lights on us. apparently i wasn't as inconspicuous as i thought. we all start freaking out and everyone starts making up possible stories so he walks up and everyone just starts talking about how we're from provo, byu, and we're up here for a sleepover but we're lost (as we're all panting and in black with several girls' hoodies covered in shaving cream). he asks me for my license, then leaves for literally like twenty minutes. everyone's panicking but trying to stay cool. then he asks me if i'll come talk to him.

he says "so what's really going on. I mean, it's obvious that you're lying" ouch, ha so i tell him the truth and the first thing he says is"do you really go to byu?" haha. so he says it's a class B criminal offense which means i'd have to go to court..yeah. but he also asks me what i think he should do because he doesn't want to make a big deal about it or for it to go on record. "apologize, and clean it up". but he says "well, how about i follow you up to the house and take a look at the cars and if i come back and they're cleaned up then i'll let it go, but if not i have your license information." so i agree and he follows us up there. that was the scariest part because how embarrassing would that be if they're out there looking at the cars and hear we come being followed by a cop and have to clean it up right in front of them. but, they weren't luckily.

we all made a pact that we wouldn't tell anybody. although we've told some people that would have no reason to tell anyone in the ward, like you. they would not be nice with payback. then on the way home, we got mooned, twice. gross haha. actually that's funny cause we were up by university mall and there was a car with two guys in it turning left at the stoplight. we started staring at them because we're creepy like that. we both go our separate ways but then like five minutes later this car pulls up to us and liz first see's the hairy butt crack staring us in the face and yells out "they're mooning us!" it was those same guys haha. so we start yelling, honking, and laughing. i speed up past them but they catch up at the next stop light and this time the driver moons us. mel yells "DANI, get the videocamera!" by this time we're at the stoplight by heritage halls and we pull up next to them surprised to see only their faces, which we actually very attractive, and we ask them politely to do it again. but, the say "sorry ladies, it was a one time thing." they seemed like really nice guys. haaaaaa.

we got home at four. we watched the movie of our adventures and got a great idea. so, the last week of the semester we're going to put a picture that mel took of this guys mailbox up as all of our profile pictures. then after the picture slideshow, since dani is the RA and she has certain persuadance powers, we're going to put an edited short clip of our adventures and tell everyone then. HA can you imagine, aw these cute wardies then..."hello perry house" a creepy camera angle of people being videotaped from the outside. ahaha. wonderful. also when we were at seven-eleven. we were all talking about the cops in line to by our cleaning supplies while behind guys who'd probably had real run-ins and this creepy mexican guy covered in tattoo's was taking forever to buy a pack of gum, my roommate mel was like, really loudly "wow, it's just a pack of gum. does it really take that long to buy." and we're all like "shhhhhh!!" i'm grateful they didn't hurt us.

haha, well that was the most exciting thing of my week.

you watch your phraseology!!

word of the day, more like of the month: Nast-happy.
adj.:Something has so much nasty that it must be happy.
ex. hair that hasn't been washed in three days. "Don't touch my hair! it's nast-happy."

A game of give and take.

I need love, love
To ease my mind
I need to find, find someone to call mine
But mama said

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said love don't come easy
It's a game of give and take

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
You got to trust, give it time
No matter how long it takes

But how many heartaches
Must I stand before I find a love
To let me live again
Right now the only thing
That keeps me hangin' on
When I feel my strength, yeah
It's almost gone
I remember mama said:

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said love don't come easy
It's a game of give and take

How long must I wait
How much more can I take
Before loneliness will cause my heart
Heart to break?

No I can't bear to live my life alone
I grow impatient for a love to call my own
But when I feel that I, I can't go on
These precious words keeps me hangin' on
I remember mama said:

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said love don't come easy
It's a game of give and take

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said trust, give it time
No matter how long it takes

Gotta wait!

No, love, love, don't come easy
But I keep on waiting
Anticipating for that soft voice
To talk to me at night
For some tender arms
To hold me tight
I keep waiting
I keep on waiting
But it ain't easy
It ain't easy
But mama said:

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said to trust, give it time
No matter how long it takes

You can't hurry love
No, you just have to wait
She said love don't come easy
It's a game of give and take
