There is some hope for me yet. This girl came by and I helped her with her computer. We talked for like an hour while her computer was updating. My goal to actually like people is on the upturn. I enjoyed talking to her. Yes, she was a real byu student, a freshman even. I say again, I enjoyed talking to her. I would be cool if we ran into each other again. Okay. Maybe there is some hope for me to be social and fun this year, instead of just Ally and I acting like retards and making meanlingless connections with people we hope to never see again.
Hmmmmmm, this is good. One person at a time, one person at a time.

lots of thoughts
First of all i'm living at my grandma's house with limited access to the internet. ...I don't know why I typed that because I work for BYU computer rentals and have my own desk with a computer and two monitors. I think I was trying to excuse myself from the fact that I haven't blogged in a while. Really access isn't a problem, it's location. I haven't wanted to blog at work because they used to read it and it made me uncomfortable. Which is lame because the whole point of having a public blog is that people can read it. Oh well, whatevers:)
I sat behind Taylor Hicks on my flight to California. Oh...I forgot, many don't know..HEY I went to California! Carlsbad to be exact. I stayed with Amber for six days and it was super duper fun:) We went to California Adventure and Disneyland, Old Town where I had really Mexican food by real illegal aliens (Amber's words, not mine). We also went to the beach, where a parrot sat on my shoulder! I know right, MY shoulder. For those of you who don't know, I have an amidigated fear of birds. Then my friend Tim came over and it was great. I sat next two a couple that was clearly, clearly returning from their honeymoon. On the upside, I didn't punch them in the face.
I have had a change of outlook. So this summer, I've been kinda...off. Just off, not like suicidal or wanting to eat babies or anything weird creepy like that. Just, off. Summer hasn't been awesome. Actually the last half of summer has been amazing due to fun activites and "the change":). But the first part of summer was as sucky as the last half has been glorious. Anywho, I was in church a couple weeks ago and someone gave a quote by, well I don't remember exactly who it was by but it was a member of the twelve. The gist of it was that as soon as you start thinking "What does the world have to offer me?" you will find that your outlook on life will sour, that it will become easier to judge people and see their worst, hope will falter and basically it's no bueno. But if you take it from, "What can I offer the world?" the opposite will happen. That's been my new outlook lately, "What can I offer the world?" Yeah, it helps.
Another thought. I really really want to cut my hair. Ally and I made a deal though. Whoever cuts their hair before the designated date owes the other dinner. As there is no designated date and both of us is broke, my hair will continue to grow. I made a goal before with myself that I wasn't going to cut my hair until Keely comes home.
I've been having great temptations to spend all my money on awesome clothes from Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and Savers. :( you gotta have those books Joni, you've gotta those books. Holding strong...at the moment.
Amber told me that I need to flirt more. She's taking it upon herself to get me a boyfriend this year haha. funny. She said she can't remember seeing me ever flirt. I told her that was ridiculous, sure I flirt. But then I was thinking, and realized that she was right. Huh. About a year ago I just stopped flirting. Cold turkey. I couldn't figure out why. Maybe it was the awkward experience at the first of last year. But I'd had awkward experiences before and I just kept going. Then I moved back to Provo and went to work last Tuesday. It hit me. I work with 6 married guys, one engaged guy, two guys who are about to be engaged, my brother, and a girl. No wonder flirting is out of my system.
Oh, the Beatles are so great.
As I said before I've been living with my Grandparents. Boy, being old bites!
My Dad is in Seattle for a business trip. Joni, so jealous right now, Joni.
St. George this weekend for one last sumher weekend.
I had a bag of chips for lunch today.
I saw Taylor Benson at the MTC today while I was working on computers
My work famfam is all back today..yusss.
Amber and I are painting our wall tonight, then we're going to get it tagged. yeah bay.
I forgot to write Keels for the third week in a row. I am a bad sister. bad Joni.
As roommates we are going to the BYU vs. Air Force game. Free tickets and free living space. woot woot.
Our living room looks like Valentines day. eck eck.
My computer is currently in the living room because we really need a tv (which i'm going to supply from my work for freeee) but i miss having my babay in my room.
i misss sumher. technically i'm working the same amount of hours but i'm now in an office. downstairs. with no windows. so summer seems gone.
penelope.
I tripped on Amber's bedframe. My foot started gushing as I collapsed on the bed. Then it started tingling. Then it got warm. And now I have a painful cut-bruise. Curse our huge-o wonderful beds!
I like organizing bookshelves.
I really like organizing bookshelves in height order.
I'm on a boat. but not really.
I was driving with two guys from my work updating the Pharos system all over campuse. We were at the intersection between Heritage and the HFAC when someone started to go when the light hadn't changed and they had to back it up. The two guys I work with started being like "0h my gosh those freshman! 'I've never been on campus before'!" So I look over and who should those two people be but Amber and Ally! hahahahha I about peed my pants.
That's all.
(If you're wondering why suddenly I went from living with my grandparents then I'm moved into my apartment, it's because I'm magic.

so, this one time
A couple of weeks ago when my boys from Phoenix were here, we were discussing who we would have narrate our life. Anyone. Consider for a moment friends. Anyone from Ghandi to Hitler, from Ben Gibbard to Lloyd Newell. After considering for a moment, my friend John turns to me and says,"I really want T-Pain to narrate your life. Auto-Tuning, the ENTIRE thing."
Yes. John. Yes!
Honestly, I'd be cool with just Ellen.
Yes. John. Yes!

I would like that with NO feathers, thanks.
My whole goal this summer was not to run over an animal, alive or dead. Those who know me well know that I'm absolutely terrified of birds, that post will come later. So my biggest fear was that I'd run over a dead bird and wouldn't realize it until POOF! all the feathers and bits of beak come bursting out from underneath the lazer. But I'm done with work and I didn't POOF! one thing!!
